READ the VOCABULARY + BACKGROUND
It is important to read the vocabulary and background before you watch the video. This will improve your ability to understand the video. It will also help you understand how the new vocabulary is used naturally.
WATCH the VIDEO
The first time you watch the video, just try to understand the overall situation.
ANSWER the QUESTIONS
First, try to answer all the questions from memory. Then rewatch the video and try to answer the questions that you missed.
WATCH and READ the SCRIPT
Watch the video again while you read the script. Reading and listening at the same time will help you hear each individual word and improve your listening accuracy.
DO the ACTIVITIES
There are several different activities that focus on listening accuracy, pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar, and sentence structure.

Alex: So, will it be your first time in Rio?

Beata: Yes, first time. I feel worried, but I know I shouldn't be. I don't really know why. I was in Japan for five years. I'm used to traveling.

Alex: Well, don't worry, you'll love Rio. I've been there twice. I guess you'll be meeting Mateo, right? Daniel's probably explained by now. Mateo is a nice guy, but he can be very domineering. (He) Likes the sound of his own voice. It's difficult to stay on track sometimes.

Beata: I'll bear that in mind. Here's my main worry, Alex. I think I'm well prepared. I bought a book about Brazil—history, customs, and so on—but I have a feeling it's going to be really difficult. I'm only there a couple of days. Will that be enough time to get to know Mateo? What about the local market, or how we can adapt the Diab Sensor to its needs?

Alex: Seriously, don't worry. You'll be fine. Just remember, Mateo likes to multitask. Just go with the flow.
