William: First off, congratulations, Ellen and Haru! I saw the winter collection in the shops. I talked to customers, and they really like it! I heard a lot of very positive comments.
Ellen: Thanks, William. Haru's designs are great!
Haru: Yes, well done, Ellen!
Ellen: Thanks! I’m very happy.
William: As you know, I set up this meeting because I wanted to talk to you about the production process for the winter collection.
Ellen: Yes, of course.
William: So, let’s begin with your views. How did it go, generally?
Ellen: I think it went well.
Haru: Yes, I think so too.
William: Okay, let’s start with the positives. What went well, in particular, Ellen?
Ellen: Well, the teamwork was really good. It was difficult at first, but I started asking questions, and everyone helped me and answered my questions. I learned a lot.
William: Yes, we have a great team!
Haru: And I’m very happy with the design of the jackets. The shops seem to like it too, so we created a good design, I think.
William: Yes, I can say that. But I have to ask—what didn’t go well? Anything, Haru? What was your experience?
Haru: Well, yes, there were one or two problems with the jackets. We had some issues with the supplier at first. The quality of the material wasn’t right.
William: So, what did you do?
Haru: We changed to a different supplier and got the right quality material from them.
William: I see. But then there was an issue with the manufacturer?
Haru: Yes, they didn’t meet the deadline, so we delivered the jackets to the shops a few days late.
William: Why did this happen?
Haru: Well, we didn’t communicate the new delivery dates for the material to the manufacturer.
William: So, what do we need to change?
Haru: We need to communicate dates to everyone involved and have regular update meetings with both the manufacturers and suppliers.
William: I see. Well, it all worked out in the end, and the jackets are in the shops. Great work! Everyone’s really happy with them—all the feedback has been fantastic!
