READ the VOCABULARY + BACKGROUND
It is important to read the vocabulary and background before you watch the video. This will improve your ability to understand the video. It will also help you understand how the new vocabulary is used naturally.
WATCH the VIDEO
The first time you watch the video, just try to understand the overall situation.
ANSWER the QUESTIONS
First, try to answer all the questions from memory. Then rewatch the video and try to answer the questions that you missed.
WATCH and READ the SCRIPT
Watch the video again while you read the script. Reading and listening at the same time will help you hear each individual word and improve your listening accuracy.
DO the ACTIVITIES

And I’m very happy with the design of the jackets. And you said the shops like it too, so we created a good design, I think.

Yes, I can see that. I have to ask—what didn’t go well? Anything? Haru, what was your experience?
Haru:
Well, yes. There were one or two problems with the jackets. We had some problems with the supplier. First, there was a problem with the quality of the material.
William:
So, what did you do?
Haru:
We changed to a different supplier . We got the right quality material from them.
William:
Okay. I see.
Haru:
But then we had a problem with the manufacturer.
William:
What was the problem?
Haru:
They didn’t meet the deadline, so we delivered the jackets to the shops a few days late.
William:
But why did this happen?
Haru:
Well, we didn’t communicate the new dates for delivery of material to the manufacturer.
William:
So, what do we need to change?
Haru:
Communicate the dates to everyone. We need to have regular update meetings with both manufacturers and suppliers.
William:

Haru:
It was okay in the end, and the jackets are in the shops.
