Researchers have shown regularly finding time for a nap is good for the brain and could slow down the process of shrinking that comes with age.
That's according to a study published by researchers from University College London and the University of the Republic in Uruguay.
With more details, here's James Gallagher.
If you've ever fancied finding a quiet corner and just nodding off for 10 minutes of peace, then science might be on your side.
Some people's DNA or genetic code makes them more likely to nap.
So the team at University College London compared those who were genetic nappers with those primed to power through the day.
The results published in the journal Sleep Health showed a napping trait led to brains that were 15 cubic centimeters larger.
The team said that was equivalent to delaying brain aging by 3 to 6 years.
It's not clear whether napping would also help prevent diseases like Alzheimer's.
But the researchers said advising people to nap for up to half an hour was a lot more achievable than exercise or weight loss.
That is such a good news story, isn't it. That was James Gallagher.
