An expedition of 56 crew members has returned to Earth.
According to NASA, the crew of Expedition 56 safely returned to Earth, landing in Kazakhstan on Oct. 4th. The crew departed the International Space Station after performing three spacewalks, while supporting months-worth of scientific research in low orbit. They also received five cargo shipments, including tons of supplies, and scientific experiments. The members of Expedition 56 spent 197-days in space, before touching back down on Earth near the town of Dzhezkazgan. The crew included NASA astronauts Drew Feustel and Ricky Arnold, and Roscosmos cosmonaut Oleg Artemyev.
